Kingston HyperX SH100S3/480G 2.5" 480GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (stand-alone drive)

Pros: Best thing you can do... Upgrade to SSD. These drives "Rock-The-Block"!!

Cons: absolutely NONE :-)

Pros: This is my first SSD and i did ALOT of research. If you look at all the reviews, its either the top performer or in 2nd or 3rd in all most all cases. Anadtech has a great real-world performance test and that truely tells the tale.

Cons: Not much, i didnt install with AHCI the first time, so i used HDDErase and made the drive 100% factory performance before installing it again with AHCI enabled. My windows 7 score went from 7.1 to 7.8 and thats on SATA II.

Other Thoughts: Cant wait to upgrade to a SATA III board in the near futute, to think this drive can be 2x as fast is crazy!!! No BSOD, no hang-ups, easy install and ;oving how fast everything is. Incredable.

Pros: Small,nice looking,fast,2.5"-3.5" tray adapter included.Windows 7 64bit index 7.9.It comes in a very nice and safe box.Kingston quality.Small power consumption.Fits very nicely in external hd enclosures.Good specs.Runs as advertised.

Cons: Price,not worth more than $80-100.Bit slower than Corsair GT.

Other Thoughts: Instalation with windows 7 64bit was easy and normal.NO BOSD,NO SHUT DOWNS,NO SPECIALS.Runs cool and quiet.So far no problems.I only had it for five days,so i can not comment on how long is going to last.SO FAR I LOVE IT.I have this one and two Corair 480 GT,and a 240gb KINGSTON HYPER X.ALL RUN PERFECT WITH NO PROBLEMS.
