Pros: Fast, ECC, UDIMM, Kingston quality

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Paired with a SUPERMICRO MBD-X9SCM-O. Worked flawlessly. I've previously had bad experiences with memory and Asus boards, but the supermicro worked great.

Everything was recognized and at proper timings.

Pros: -Have this 4x4 kit seated in an ASUS P8C WS / Xeon E3 1270v2, zero setup -- zero problems. Inserted and "just works".

-ECC reported working in Windows and memtest86.

Cons: None, system working flawlessly.

Other Thoughts: It's really hard to beat the price of Kingston's memory, or NewEgg's pricing and shipping options for it.

Been purely using DDR3 1333 Kingston server DIMMs till now, and have been for years in ASUS and SuperMicro motherboards. Not a single DIMM of the 18 that I've purchased has failed to date.. These are systems that're in operation 24/7 without crashes.


Cheap, good compatibility with server boards. If you're worried about the Kingston brand or the low price, you've nothing to fear.
