Pros: I'm waiting to drop 8 of these into an HP Z420 workstation (64GB of ram) for use as an ESX5.1 host. If I had purchased the HP Z420 with 64GB of ram, It would have been $3500 over the base price. On newegg, the Kingston ram with the exact part number for the Z420, this ram was $680. $2900 Savings!!!! Without even having used this ram, it gets 5 stars just for that!!! I love newegg! Will post more once I've actually used it. Looks like my purchase of 8 of these wiped out Newegg's stock.......oopsies.... Cons: This is ECC ram so it is quite a bit more expensive then Non ECC ram, but when purchasing a box that requires ECC, this is a known, so not really a Con. Did you find this review helpful?
