Pros: Picked up one of these for an opteron 246 build I still have spinning. The purchase was intended to replace a 10krpm raptor raid 0 array the OS sat on. This is an old rig built using the MSI Master2 FAR7 board. The bios recognized it immediately, however the 2 SATA ports on the board are reserved for raid dual drive setup only it turns out. No matter, I used an IDE to SATA adapter I also picked up on newegg for 10 bucks, mirrored the raid 0 to the SATA drive, rebooted a few times, reallocated the drive size from the mirror size to the actual disk size of 240 GB, rebooted / unplugged the raid 0 SATA ports, and the task was complete. The rig runs clearly, noticeably faster. Much faster. Boot up time reduced from 90-120 seconds to on average 24-~. Application load time and performance are hugely improved. Note - locate and add to your toolbox, and make use of, a 3rd party disk partition utility. Good investment.

Cons: None. CD that came w/ kit was of no use. Kit included many extra things simply not needed. Likely why drive is costly compared to competing products. This is not a con, but the kit includes literally everything you would need to install to literally any rig built in the last 10-15 years.

Pros: This Drive is just what they say it is it's easy to install it has all the hardware to install it . Everything is there to transfer my old drive . It's very fast also!

Cons: No Cons .
