4 out of 5 eggssmall, average

Pros: +tiny
+five year warranty
+kingston has been very reliable in the past

Cons: -benchmarks well below spec
-can't rotate a common keyring inside the lanyard hole
-plastic top feels a little flimsy
-thin aluminum is not reassuring

Other Thoughts: I benchmarked it twice (on USB 2.0 & 3.0 ports) with FAT32 formatting and got:
read ~40MB/s
write ~6.5MB/s
access time of 0.90ms (sic)

The plastic top feels like it's pressed into the thin, aluminum body, rather than glued. Odds are, it will fail before the flash memory does.

Although I could run a keyring through the plastic top, the drive was stuck on the keyring at an angle. I happened to have a small, metal ring that *did* fit through the awkwardly triangular hole and was then able to loop that ring onto my keyring.

It's ridiculously small. The only thing I've seen that compares is the previous Kingston USB 2 model, which has the advantage of a stronger, rounder lanyard hole.

I'd love to see the previous design in USB 3, with a thin steel body but all in all, this is a good product and a great value.
