Other Thoughts: I reviewed this at 4 eggs, unimpressed by the speed. Well, I eventually found that my USB3 was not enabled in BIOS. My bad. I would like to upgrade my rating to FIVE EGGS.

Pros: Cool distinctive looks. Reasonable speed.

Cons: Lanyard eyelet very weak. Not exceptional speed.

Other Thoughts: The lanyard eyelet seems like a poor afterthought; it is a thin shred of rubber material. Minus one egg. I have attached a lanyard, but use it only to support the weight of the device. Do not use it to unplug the device.

Speeds for me on USB 3.0 are ~5 MB/S, compared to ~2 MB/S for the USB 2.0 Kingston devices. Acceptable but not great. I even tried NTFS formatting and OS performance tweaks but discovered drawbacks. I appreciate Kingston drives for their reliability, not their speed. I've used them for many years.

Pros: Tested using benchmark tools. My unit recorded averages:

Write: 86.19 MB/s
Read: 136.70 MB/s

Cons: Has an activity light, which could be a plus for some people. I find it annoying and distracting if plugged into a TV for playback.

No strap included, cap can easily be lost.

Pros: Compact I like the rubber textured feel. Great balance of read write speeds read the specs.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: If needed I would buy another one.

Pros: It is a nice fast high capacity flash drive. I like the nice soft exterior – perfect for caring around in your pocket.

Pros: Great thumb drive like usual. I really like Kingston's products. This thumb drive is faster than most, and cost a little more because of that. I read the specs that New Egg provided for the various thumb drives, and that helped a lot.

Pros: It works!

Cons: I prefer products made in the USA but that seems to be hard to come by these days esp in the tech dept.

Other Thoughts: I'm using this as a backup drive for my laptop. I used it with USB 3.0 and it was noticeably faster than USB 2.0
