5 out of 5 eggsLasted less than 2 months

This review is from: Kingston 64GB DataTraveler microDuo USB 3.0 On-The-Go Flash Drive

Pros: Small and flexible

Cons: Dies in less than 2 months

Other Thoughts: I bought 3 of these drives but 1 of them is completely dead. The drive is not detected on multiple machines. Not just no drive letter or something - No detection at all.

This review is from: Kingston 64GB DataTraveler microDuo USB 3.0 On-The-Go Flash Drive

Pros: Compact, fast transfer, makes it easy/convenient to backup pictures, transfer files, etc.

Cons: None other than plastic cover might not last long

Other Thoughts: Needs to be formatted to use with phones, but it should format it anyways

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent product

This review is from: Kingston 64GB DataTraveler microDuo USB 3.0 On-The-Go Flash Drive

Pros: small, fast, modular, great way to keep movies off your phone's sd card to slow it down. Easy to transfer files from phone to drive, and vice versa. I was able to put full seasons of a few shows, plus all of my tech software without having to delete old files to gain storage. If they made this in a 128GB model with the same form factor, it would defy physics but I would still buy it. I have the ring attached to my lanyard and it is still long enough to stay plugged into my phone while around my neck.

Cons: The only thing I would like to see on this drive has to do with the micro USB plug. First, I had to remove the plastic cover in order to fit the drive in the space allowed by my case (otterbox defender for S3). Second, I would have liked to see the "locking pins" or whatever they're called, on the micro USB plug to help hold the drive firmly in the phone. I haven't had any trouble with the drive falling out, but it does fit loosely enough that if you are riding in a car and hit a big bump, it may cause the drive to come out a little. Probably not a big deal but maybe something to add at Revision 2.0?
