5 out of 5 eggsVery good!

This review is from: Silicon Power Elite 16GB SDHC UHS-I Card Class 10 Full-HD Video Recording Performance 40MB/s

Pros: I now own 4 of their MMC cards because I do a lot of work with embedded computing (raspberry Pi, Bannana Pi's) as well as a Kodak camera. And so far I have not had a single one fail on me. Transfer rate using a USB 2.0 style interface within the embedded environments has been around 11mb/sec write with a 26mb/sec read which is good. Please understand that things like the Raspberry Pi there is no USB chip and all of the data is being bounced right off of the ARM processor so there is going to be loss of bandwidth no matter what in my configuration. I got it very quickly from the company and it was new and sealed in the package all good!

Cons: This is going to sound -really- nitpicky. But they put stickers on their boxes stating that you can win an Ipad air. But they tell you nothing about how to actually -do- that. With a little bit of google-fu you can find out where. I can't do it because facebook is evil. Oh well. Not going to remove stars over something dumb like that.

Other Thoughts: Silicon Power is one of those companies which is really trying to get their name out there for being a reliable memory company. With a lifetime warranty on their products which is something not even Kingston is doing much these days. It's slowly becoming my new go-to company whenever I need MMC or CF based storage.

5 out of 5 eggsFast SD Card

This review is from: Silicon Power Elite 16GB SDHC UHS-I Card Class 10 Full-HD Video Recording Performance 40MB/s

Pros: Write speeds are the fastest I have seen on the countless number of SD Cards I have owned. There is no lag. Reading and writing to my computer was nearly instant. Camera operated faster than it ever had before.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Best SD Camera card I have come across.
