The old Asus board saw it and set the timings for it and it was booting in to Windows in seconds. It looks good and the price is a bargain. Cons: None Other Thoughts: The tall heat sinks may cause issues for some folks with the CPU coolers. The memory was sent to be for an honest review. Did you find this review helpful? Before putting these sticks in I tried a pair of top rated 1866 MHz and couldn't boot into the BIOS. So I pulled them out and popped these in and was off to the races. Wasn't sure if it was gonna be good or trash because it had no reviews. Can confirm, is not trash. Computer runs fine. Obviously, with those heat spreaders, it's not low profile. Depending on your motherboard and CPU cooler you can be ok. I probably had about 2mm of space between the closest stick and the CPU cooler fan I added in as an afterthought. It is what it says it is. Cons: Not really a con, just one of it's features some people might not like. The tall heat spreaders. But they make it look better. Oh and it wasn't $1. Totally would have bought 16 Gb if it was $1.
