1 out of 5 eggsDead after 13 months

Pros: Looks nice... well, different. It's a USB drive?
Faster than USB 2.0 drives... somewhat.

Cons: Physically bigger than other drives I used (this isn't going to take up 2 ports though)
Gets a bit warm after use since it's encased in metal.

Other Thoughts: I didn't use it much, just left it plugged into my desktop a lot of the time when I got it back in april of 2012. May 2013 and tried copying 27GB of files to it, Windows gives some weird error about files missing, and it goes into a read-only state after a eject and reconnect. None of the possible fixes I looked up/tried fixed anything and it's effectively dead to me. Least it didn't take out any useful files because I can't access half the folders on it either.

If you want to take it apart, pry the clear plastic off the back with a small screwdriver where you'd attach a lanyard, and the internals will fall out the other end. Least the shell's reusable :D

5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I wanted

Pros: My use is on USB 2.0 platform. Anything above 30Mb/sec was not needed. These (I bought 2) sticks were tested using a 12 hour read/write pattern test and they rated at 30Mb/sec read and 26Mb/sec write. Perfect for my USB 2.0 application.

Cons: None really. My use is USB 2.0 and the USB 2.0 sticks by major manufacturers test at 18Mb/read and <4Mb write. These, by comparison are killer.

Other Thoughts: These are what USB 2.0 sticks should be- tests at about max speed in both read and write.

Got mildly warm, but nowhere near hot during the 12 hour test.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal for $20

Pros: Benchmarked with CrystalMark (5 reps at 1 gig) at 163 MB/s read and 50 write. Real world transfers had consistent 48-49 MB/s write to the drive. So not top of the line, but not as slow as some reviewers are reporting.

Cons: Red activity light make it feel awful Lannister-y with all that gold...

Other Thoughts: Not quite sure why some reviewers are getting such low speeds. What I used was FX-8350 on a Sabertooth r2.0 and copied from both SSD and HDD (used the front ports on my case).

1 out of 5 eggsUh-oh....

Pros: Cool design, simple but practical.

Cons: Cptr recognizes USB drive, then drive "disappears" and computer finds it again. Rinse and repeat.

5 out of 5 eggsRather Nice speeds

Pros: Quicker than advertized, also faster than the ADATA S102 32GB USB 3.0 drive I just got. See "Other thoughts" for benchmark data. Also this drive is Cheap and has a lifetime warranty.

Cons: Gets a bit warm during heavy use.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this to be used as a Recovery USB for a Hackintosh build I am doing. I purchased a ADATA S102 32GB USB 3.0 drive as well which I was going to keep for my self, but after playing around with both of them, I think I am going to keep this F108 for my self. Using CrystalDiskMark: getting 178.1MB/s Read and 49.73MB/s Write speeds. The ADATA stick got 89.13MB/s read and 47.41MB/s Write.

5 out of 5 eggsTeam F108 32 GB Flash Drive

Pros: Metal Casing, LED's show activity, Way cheaper than an SSD or hard drive for an emergency hard drive, and file storage purposes.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Currently using this as a hard drive running Ubuntu 12.10, on a back up computer. Speedy enough for internet, file transfers, the usual stuff. Can you run games on it?. No, but it can keep you up and running in an emergency, when your new rig has bad ram, and you have to wait three weeks for a replacement from Newegg. Buy it!. Need more room?. Buy the 64 gig.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Thin and flat, easy to insert/remove two of these side-by-side on my computers. Fast ehough for me. Cap can be placed on the other end when drive is in use.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I have had good luck with my Team brand USB drives. I like the fact the cap on this model can be placed on the other end to keep it from being misplaced when the drive is in use. I do not concern myself with speed to much as these get used for backing up files but it seems faster than other brands I use.
