16gb CF CARD
This review is from: Team 16GB Compact Flash (CF) Flash Card Model TG00AG2NCFJX
Pros: Relatively Cheap for 16gb card. Works fine in a Nikon Camera.
Cons: Don't buy for CF to IDE adapters. I don't believe anything is wrong with the card. I bought a CF to IDE adapter with this card for an old laptop to do a poor mans SSD setup. I believe the internal bus/transfer rate of the CF to IDE adapter is very poor and no matter how fast of a card you have it will not be a wise decision to use these cards in that manner. I had very bad luck and took laptop 20min to boot up to Windows XP. My Computer Icon took 5 minutes just to open it.
Other Thoughts: I gave this card to my mom for her Nikon SLR. She say's she is happy with it and it works great! I didn't have luck with it as a poor mans SSD running windows XP in a laptop. It'll load windows, and you will see a desktop, only when it feels like getting to showing it to you.
