5 out of 5 eggsFour month follow up review

Pros: Still solid. No issues, crashes, lockups, or anything weird. The best value in value RAM out there. Has survived a lot of torture testing!

Cons: Discontinued! Too bad, this is great RAM

Other Thoughts: Rig installed into:

Gigabyte GA-Z77MX-D3H, F15 BIOS
Team 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 RAM, 1.5V, XMP
Core i5-3570K, default clock
Plextor M3 256GB SSD as primary and ONLY drive
ASUS DVD/RW
Sapphire Toxic Edition Radeon 6950, unlocked to 6970
Seasonic M12II, modular 520W PSU
GE wireless keyboard and mouse, micro USB receiver
Cooler Master 430 case, and still using the blingy fan!
Biostar USB 3.0 bracket in 3.5" bay

System is running Win7 x64 OEM Home Premium Edition

Pros: Cheap and good performance, good delivery

Cons: After a couple weeks my computer started to get random blue screen crashes. I ran mem test and it turns out one of the 4 gigabyte sticks was faulty and unusable. Unfortunately this was after the 30 day rma period. However before it failed I was completely satisfied with the product.

5 out of 5 eggsBest value RAM out there

Pros: Just installed my third set of this RAM. All have been flawless at the XMP profile. I have reviewed this RAM before and I am updating my review to say that longevity is not an issue with this RAM and it performs just as well as similar kits from Crucial or Corsair or GSkill. I just built a machine for my parents with this third set I have bought and I will detail it below. The three sets are being used, or have been used, in the following motherboards/CPU setups:

MSI Z77A-GD65, 10.5 BIOS with a i7-2700K
Gigabyte GA-Z77MX-D3H, F12 BIOS with a i5-3570K
ASUS AMD 880G chipset mATX board with Athlon II X3-450
BIOSTAR AMD 880G chipset mATX board with Athlon II X3-455

Cons: Keeps going out of stock!

Other Thoughts: Most recent build using this RAM:

Gigabyte GA-Z77MX-D3H mATX motherboard
i5-3570K CPU, not overclocked, default Intel CPU cooler
Team 8 GB DDR3-1600 9-9-9-24, 1.5V
Plextor M3 256GB SSD
ASUS DVD/RW
Cooler Master GLite 430 series case, with two additional SilenX 120mm fans
SeaSonic M12II 520W PSU
Sapphire Toxic Edition Radeon 6950OC unlocked to 6970
GE Wireless keyboard and mouse with nano receiver

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: Have four of these sticks in my tower I finished about a month and a half ago, and even with all of the multitasking I do (file conversions, 3D rendering, web designing, etc), I haven't gotten close to maxing out the usage of the RAM. I haven't even had a need to OC it yet.

Cons: None thus far. Will update if any.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value!!!

Pros: Cheap. Good quality. Did I mention cheap? Works as advertised, 1600MHz at 9-9-9-24 timings. I bought 3 pairs to upgrade my triple channel x58 i7 build from 6gb to 24gb (staving off major upgrades as long as possible) and couldn't be happier. While your mileage may vary, I was able to get a stable OC at 1866 with 9-10-9-28 timings. Best of all you get all that performance without annoying heatsinks to work around! Seriously folks, buy this RAM.

Cons: None that I have found yet.

5 out of 5 eggsHah! I get to review it first.

Pros: Rock stable. Works. Supports XMP profile. Boots at JEDEC default DDR3-1333. Easily rectified by selecting the stored XMP profile in BIOS. Instantly set itself to DDR3-1600, 9-9-9-24 2N, 1.5V. Five passes with MemTest86 and no issues at all. Prime95 for six hours and similarly no issues. Using MSI Z77A GD-65 and Core i7-2700K at default clocks.

Cons: None. None at all. No stupid heatsinks to get in the way of my Cooler Master Hiper212+.

Other Thoughts: Nice to see RAM that works precisely as advertised.
