2 out of 5 eggsBSoDs when gaming, but I found a fix.

Pros: Works like it's supposed to for average use.
8 GB
Decent price

Cons: Blue screens with error codes when gaming, but I found a fix. I just had to overclock it a bit, and the problems went away

Other Thoughts: It's decent RAM, but honestly there is better RAM out there. Such as Corsair, G Skill, etc.

But if you overclock this RAM, then it'll work out fine when you're gaming. :P

1 out of 5 eggsJust, Terrible

Pros: Worked for a few weeks.

Cons: Consistent Blue Screens, all which relate to RAM issues. Ever few hours, its a new one. Borrowed my buddies Corsair Vengeance ram, put them in the same slots to verify it wasn't the Motherboard input somehow. Issues went away. Ran for 5 days, no issues. Put these back in, blue screens again after 2 hours.

Other Thoughts: Just buy a proven brand, and pay the extra 10$

1 out of 5 eggsSecond set is also bad.

Pros: I'd say price, but that's not really a pro when they just plain don't work.

Cons: The specs are a lie.

Other Thoughts: So, I sent back my first set of these, because they were defective. (see my first review). And now I've had the second, replacement set, installed in my system for several days. And although they do at least boot the system up now, they still are NOT working at the speed they are rated for. Trying to run them at 1600 Mhz, even with the voltage turned up a bit, still does not work reliably. Sometimes one or the other module fails to initialize, or sometimes they cause windows to either bluescreen or reboot. So now, just to make my system stable, I've got them running underclocked.

1 out of 5 eggsMine was defective

Pros: Cheapest price for an 8 gig dual channel kit of DDR3 1600.

Cons: One of my modules was totally defective and caused the system to either not boot or boot up without acknowledging the existence of the defective module.

The other module was unstable at the advertised speed and voltage, causing the system to crash or fail to boot, until I underclocked it.

Other Thoughts: If Team can't manage to make RAM which performs to these specs, then they shouldn't be trying sell it with these specs. It's as simple that.. To do so, is a plain lie and a ripoff to customers.

And as long as newegg allows this to be sold with these specs, and at this price, I will continue to keep sending it back until I get what I payed for.

2 out of 5 eggsUNSTABLE

Pros: The stick that does work works very well, it fits into my machine just as it should

Cons: One of the sticks was defective, I may have just been unlucky, but the defective stick caused my computer to have several blue screen of death's. Once I ran the stick through Memtest86 and saw the massive amount of error messages roll down the screen, I promptly removed the stick. Have had no problems since.

Other Thoughts: The price was good hence the 2 eggs, if I had gotten a fully working product rather than a 50% working one, I would have given it a max score

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed in TEAM

Pros: None

Cons: Unstable
Does not run at the advertised clock/voltages.

Other Thoughts: This ram has problems. The ram is not stable at the advertised clocks and voltages. I could only get this ram stable at 1.65v which is unacceptable for the price.

Additionally, I had purchased some Team Extreme 9-9-9-24 1600mhz XMP ram and one stick went bad after a month of non-oc use...

I will not be buying any more Team products seeing as they were 1 for 4 usable sticks of ram.

Save your money and buy something that you can either overclock or tighten the clocks on; not something that you need to fight to make usable.
