I had 4GB of RAM previously and upgrading to 16GB has a huge effect on the performance of my Asus Laptop. Got this on sale and for only $15 more than 8GB of RAM it was well worth the additional cost. I recommend this product to anyone looking to boost the performance of their Laptop. Cons: None at all. Other Thoughts: My laptop came with the i7 quad core processor and the limiting factor was the RAM capacity. It is great to allow my computer to perform optimally. I give this 5 eggs. Pros: Clearly this price cannot be beaten, which is what attracted me to it to begin with! Cons: Although the slot type was correct (speed, timings, everything was correct), this is not compatible with my Dell Latitude E6410. First attempt at installation resulted in the screen going completely white after attempting to boot windows (which I found odd, since I usually have issues with memory upon boot), so ran a memory test, which promptly failed at 92%. This made me think that perhaps the first set was faulty, so Newegg Replaced those, only to have the same problem with a new pair. BIOS was updated, everything I could think of to try was done, but to no avail. Other Thoughts: I'm honestly really really sad that this didn't work out, because you really can't beat the price of this upgrade to get a laptop up to 16gb of memory. Newegg is always rock-solid about RMA and refunds though, so it's not like I'm out anything for this. 1 out of 3 people found this review helpful. Did you? Did not know the brand & at time of purchase there were no reviews. I normally stick with Crucial, Kingston, etc. brands. But .. the 25% discount was too tempting. Considerable savings when other brands priced out at more than 1/3 the price of the laptop being purchased. After installation, I ran memtest86 several times, which takes a lonnnnng time for 16GB of memory! Also ran Lenovo's diagnostics. No errors. RAM has been running in laptop always on for two weeks. All indications point to it's working great. Glad I went out of my comfort zone and took a chance on Team brand RAM. Cons: none. very happy with purchase. Other Thoughts: Purchased with a Lenovo G575 for friend who wanted a bargain laptop. The laptop officially supports only 8GB but had read that 16GB would run in it. This memory ran at the expected speed (667 mhz) with the correct latency (9) out of the box on a core i5 3210m thinkpad laptop. Price was the best of the bunch. Windows experience index went up from 5.9 to 7.5 on my laptop. Cons: installing required keyboard removal for me. Not a well known brand.
