1 out of 5 eggsOne stick is bad

Pros: Cheap fast big memory. The stick that does work is rock solid at the advertised speed/timings/voltage.

Cons: One of the sticks is ALMOST working. It took a week of trouble shooting but I've unequivocally narrowed my system instability to one of the two stick of this RAM.

Other Thoughts: Both sticks pass Memtest 86+, so this was a head scratcher for me. Only after swapping sticks and slots, plus testing in another computer, was I able to narrow it to the one stick of RAM. Team needs to up their quality control. Okay, Newegg, lets start the returns process!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Memory! Great Price

Pros: Fast, great timings, I expected I wouldn't be able to run at 2400 because of my Motherboard and I am only able to get it to run at 1800, but I contacted Team Group Inc. and they were very helpful, they contacted AsRock (the manufacturer of my motherboard) and concluded I would need an i7 K processor for best Overclock performance. (now I have an i5 3300 non-k). But I am very happy because I know if I ever upgrade, I should be able to run faster. SiSoftware Sandra Lite (performance test) showed my Memory Bandwidth at Aggregated Score : 23.530GB/s (Higher than 88.43% results) and Cache & Memory Latency Aggregated Score : 23.9ns (Higher than 88.01% results). That is at 1800, with my motherboards (Auto) low timings of 8-9-9-24 which is a bit lower than the advertised timing of this memory (10-12-12-31). That's what makes the difference, even though I am only able to get the speed up to 2400, my lower timings make a lot off difference. All my temperatures are still very low too (using CPUID HWMonitor).

Cons: none, except the memory only has about 1/2 a centimeter between sticks, but I expected that seeing the pictures and other reviews, so I purchased a memory fan too (G.SKILL FTB-3500C5-D Fan) which sucks the hot air out from between the sticks very well.

Other Thoughts: Great Memory, Fast, Low Price, what else can you ask for?

1 out of 5 eggsWont buy again.

Pros: Bought these because the price was right and heard good things about TEAM in the passed. I have bought a few of their USB sticks and have been happy.

Cons: One of the sticks caused windows (both 7 & 8, tried both) to hang during boot. I have many drives in my machine old and new which caused me to run through all sorts of "what could it be" troubleshooting, pulling drives, pulling periph's ect, all to no avail. I should have known since all other hardware ran 24/7 for the last 7 years in my X6 without issue, that it was something in the upgraded mobo/ram/proc I picked up.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from a very tired Phenom II X6 running at 4Ghz solid from Day 1 (with 4GB DDR2-1150 Patriot) , to a new Haswell 4790K setup. It was my mistake for not trying each stick of ram in the initial troublehsooting (it was during the holidays, and we were quite busy), but for some reason I suspected the mobo, which was a Asus Maximus VII Hero. I ended up actually buying a new motherboard (Gigabyte Z97 Black Edition) and selling the Asus. Only to find after installing from scratch for the millionth time the lockups were still there. What was really puzzling is once in windows, I could run ANY benchmark, ANY stress test, and it passed. It was only when I ran Memtest86 and let it go through its 4 hour long test that the memory failed towards the very end. I then tried each stick, and one stick failed while the other did not. I then booted with the one stick that failed, and the random lockups at boot were present, I put in the stick that passed, and I havent seen a lockup at boot yet. So my conclusion is this ram is bad (at least one stick). I will RMA the ram, but will most likely go with another brand and sell these. I think these sticks are binned 1333 sticks. I say this because the profiles available for these sticks according to CPU-Z are for: 533Mhz (1066). 609Mhz (?), 666Mhz (1333), and 1200Mhz (2400). Nothing in between 1333-2400.

4 out of 5 eggsGood to go with ASRock Extreme 6

Pros: Pleased so far. Some crashes while playing with BIOS & overclock settings but I was experimenting with different settings at that point. There also was a USB 3 driver issue when this was noted so it could have been the mouse or keyboard.. Take it with a grain of salt. Quite stable in normal mode and fast.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Team Extreme scores another win. At this time I would say I would buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as Specified

Pros: It does everything it says it should. Runs at 2400 no problem. Plugged into my Asus z97Pro Wifi board and it recognised it as Team Xtreem 2400 and runs without incident.

Cons: The heat riser does not slide off like the Corsair Vengeance pro. It is a 2 part riser pressed together so if you want to remove it you have to carefully pry it apart and remove the whole riser. It is attached with Thermal Tape on both sides. Runs great and at a great price. I had to remove the riser on one chip because my air cooler hit it otherwise.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy these

Pros: Hit 2400 at advertized cas etc. stable.
Really not much else to say, good price ram that actually preforms as advertized.

I even pushed their latencies down some still stable (but you get very little benefit so i left them default).

Cons: Con the heat spreaders are without exception to wide.
Typically, 2 sticks is a good idea for best overclock etc. Thus they are never too close. But with 4 of these (you don't know my multitask) they touch each other. If a bit thinner air could past by them more effectively (the mebo could have more space but i find that unlikely).

Other Thoughts: Despite the heat spreaders' width they fit fine.
Do purchase these I doubt you'll find better.

5 out of 5 eggscheaper than average

Pros: works as advertised, didn't have to do nothing in bios..plug and play 100% on MSI Z87 paired with i7-4770K @4.00ghz.
these ram could hang with the big boys easy while keeping your wallet in check

Cons: as right now I do not find any cons except my own fault, should have bought 32 instead of 16, while waiting for the shipment newegg lowered the price to 10 bucks cheaper
