5 out of 5 eggsGreat value for the price

Pros: Works as per specs right out of the box. Inserted in my Z87 MB, powered on, chose the XMP profile in the bios, and the memory has been ticking since (three months now). Reliable. Good value (at black friday sales price).

Cons: As others have noted: the heat sink attachment to module body is rather sloppy. Looks like a cheap glue on and prone to coming off. I was very careful when installing the module and the heat sink did not detach. The memory temperatures have been nominal since.

1 out of 5 eggsWarranty covereage is unrealistic

Pros: When I received it the memory worked great. It ran at the rated speeds without any issues and tested stable

Cons: However 2.5 months into usage my PC shuts off one day and starts doing a reboot loop. After troubleshooting and research find that 1 of the 2 sticks is causing it. The lifetime warranty makes you pay to ship the product to Taiwan. Then you have to wait for it to be shipped back from Taiwan.

Other Thoughts: Do the smart thing and avoid this bargain brand. They are cheap for a reason. Go for a reliable brand that has a US warranty processing center.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Ram Sleek Look

Pros: XMP profile for 2400mhz worked right off the bat. Running in Asus Maximus VII Hero.

The black steel heatsinks look dead sexy. I was considering getting the Gskill Trident X to match my red theme, but I am so glad I got these instead. These look much better than they appear in the picture. They are like black metal, not metal painted black, so they still have a very metallic look to them kind of like a gun or something. They are just really sweet looking.

Get these, they are cheaper than the GSkill with the same timings and look better in my opinion. The sticker faces toward the back so you likely won't see it.

Cons: They should have used a black sticker but it faces towards the back so no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I like, like a lot.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: I just combined this with the 8GB kit and now have 24GB total. Installed it and it runs just like it should at 2400mhz speed. No mods necessary in BIOS since I already had the other identical sticks set to 2400mhz. I set up an 8GB RAM drive and everything is working great. I probably didn't need to bother with this but I just wanted them. :)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Best deal around. I might buy more as I just don't see the point in DDR4 yet and don't feel like upgrading MOBU, CPU, etc. yet at this point. DDR3 is still a great option.

5 out of 5 eggsOC'd to 2600 MHz without tweaking!

Pros: Replaced My 4x4 Corsair Vengeance

( http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233236 - Whats up with the price of this set now! Paid $136 2 1/2 years ago, now their $320?!- )

with these 2 8 gig sticks as I had a dead memory bank on my z77 Extreme 4 mobo and could only use 8 gigs of the Corsair. If I had bought this RAM in the beginning my memory bank would probably still be working as these inserted smoothly into the memory slots and snapped into place without effort, unlike the Vengeance which was such a tight fit requiring much force and difficulty to snap into place, which I believe led to damaging one of the memory banks. Was only able to use the the 16 gigs of the Corsair for about 3 months after building my computer in June 2012 before damage occurred.

Haven't attempted to tweak or push past 2600 MHz yet, pointless really.

Cons: Large heat spreader rests a bit snug against the 24 pin power connector on the board, but no biggie. Motherboard design is to blame there. Other than that they fit perfect!

Other Thoughts: Will definitely buy Team again if these sticks hold out!

5 out of 5 eggsteam group does it again

Pros: -cheapest 16gb of ddr 2400 ram you'll find. (most others comes in around the $200 range)
-made me a team group follower when I purchased my 1st set of ram (same ram as this, I have 32gb of this ram in my system as we speak)

Cons: -warning to AMD fm2+ users, if your motherboard supports 2400 for OC, if you clock to 2400,user be warned. It's not the rams fault but the cpu/apu as they are spec'ed to run at 2133. You can temporarily OC the ram but beware of strange BSOD's if you do.

Other Thoughts: had to buy in two pairs over two months due to the fact of budget. Otherwise, I would have bought a cheaper set of 32 complete gb of ram. A little more expensive this for 32 but if you just want 16gb of ram with the best bang for the buck, then this is the set of ram for you

1 out of 5 eggsOne stick is bad

Pros: Cheap fast big memory. The stick that does work is rock solid at the advertised speed/timings/voltage.

Cons: One of the sticks is ALMOST working. It took a week of trouble shooting but I've unequivocally narrowed my system instability to one of the two stick of this RAM.

Other Thoughts: Both sticks pass Memtest 86+, so this was a head scratcher for me. Only after swapping sticks and slots, plus testing in another computer, was I able to narrow it to the one stick of RAM. Team needs to up their quality control. Okay, Newegg, lets start the returns process!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Memory! Great Price

Pros: Fast, great timings, I expected I wouldn't be able to run at 2400 because of my Motherboard and I am only able to get it to run at 1800, but I contacted Team Group Inc. and they were very helpful, they contacted AsRock (the manufacturer of my motherboard) and concluded I would need an i7 K processor for best Overclock performance. (now I have an i5 3300 non-k). But I am very happy because I know if I ever upgrade, I should be able to run faster. SiSoftware Sandra Lite (performance test) showed my Memory Bandwidth at Aggregated Score : 23.530GB/s (Higher than 88.43% results) and Cache & Memory Latency Aggregated Score : 23.9ns (Higher than 88.01% results). That is at 1800, with my motherboards (Auto) low timings of 8-9-9-24 which is a bit lower than the advertised timing of this memory (10-12-12-31). That's what makes the difference, even though I am only able to get the speed up to 2400, my lower timings make a lot off difference. All my temperatures are still very low too (using CPUID HWMonitor).

Cons: none, except the memory only has about 1/2 a centimeter between sticks, but I expected that seeing the pictures and other reviews, so I purchased a memory fan too (G.SKILL FTB-3500C5-D Fan) which sucks the hot air out from between the sticks very well.

Other Thoughts: Great Memory, Fast, Low Price, what else can you ask for?
