2 out of 5 eggsIncompatible with AMD?

Pros: cost; I got it 'free' with mobo purchase
Somewhat usable (?)

Cons: (on two [2] AMD computers:) Both of paired modules do not show as installed--only half of total was being reported in 'properties', but both showing up in CPUZ; switching them out and trying different scenarios, I found one was not bootable...

Other Thoughts: Not sure if this was the result of age, (having not noticed the problem before, though the computer it/they were installed in is not used by me personally), or if there was a recent incident revealing an apparently defective unit, but the computer they were in seemed to run 'fine' <shrug> I switched out the memory and it was 'fixed'( i.e., showed both modules correctly, and all usable). Tested the pair in another AMD system, and found similar results/problems in detection &/or use. I don't have another Win-'PC' set up at the moment, but will evaluate in an Intel unit asap [Michael B. review showed similar problems with AMD, and he suggested that the 1600 mhz speed was perhaps a function of Intel memory boosting 'XMP' , etc]
Hard to really say if it is good/bad, or simply not compatible with the systems I tried it in; as I stated, will try in Intel soon...
Awarding 2 stars because it should be made more clearly delineated that it might not be compatible with AMD--This is the first set of many, many that I have had any problems with over years of building/upgrading computers.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Performance

Pros: The metal plates are appropriately sized so they don't interfere with my heatsink. It also looks cool.
Performance is amazing and it's solidly built.

Cons: They seem to have been discontinued shortly after I bought these. I was going to get two more to fill my RAM slots and have all be the same, but they don't sell them anymore.

Other Thoughts: These not only work perfectly, but they look cool. I REALLY wanted to get two more, but they don't sell them anymore. I will forever regret not getting two additional sticks to fill my motherboard.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: This is not top of the line memory, but it does do the job. No issues installing and system recognized it easily.

Cons: One stick failed after a year, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Only cost me $52 at the time.
Memory easily went to rated speeds with XMP.
Was able to tighten the timings to 8-8-8-21 with no hassle.
Doesn't have massive heatsinks.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: DDR3-1600 that can handle CAS8 for $52. Excellent performance for the money.

4 out of 5 eggsRAM

Pros: -Works
-Speeds are as advertised
-Red Heatsink matches my case fairly well

Cons: -Subjective: the heatsink is more subtle than the G.Skill Ripjaws; you see the stick of ram itself when it's installed rather than the heatsink.

Other Thoughts: -Never heard of this brand before but the price was right. I am not disappointed but there's nothing too special to say about them.

2 out of 5 eggsShort lived

Pros: -Ran well when it was working
-They look pretty

Cons: -Died after 1.5 years of usage

Other Thoughts: It worked well when it worked, but after a little while, I had a lot of crashing issues and BSODs which pointed towards faulty RAM. I replaced them and all seems to be good. It's nice RAM, but I'd hardly be able to recommended considering how short the lifespan was.

5 out of 5 eggsGood memory

Pros: stable, no errors

Cons: nothing yet.

Other Thoughts: I run MEMTEST86+ 24 hours, no errors. My motherboard did not recognize them and set 1333 only, I guess I need manually set the right speed, may be later.
