2 out of 5 eggsIt's a USB drive, I guess

Pros: It was free with purchase. It stores information, because it's a USB drive.

Cons: First, the metal clasp broke. No problem, I guess, since it's free and I have other clasps I can use. Then, while plugged into a computer, I pulled on the tether cord to remove the drive from the computer, and the plastic loop on the drive broke. So now I have a "key" drive that I can't attach to my keychain. And it's so small that I can't do anything else with it without taking the chance of losing it.

Seriously, ever hear of metal for the lanyard hole?

Other Thoughts: Why complain when it's free, I guess?

4 out of 5 eggsMain feature - smallness

Pros: This is the one for your car radio front USB port. It's out of the way and not likely to get hit or stressed sideways while you are in the front seat having a fist fight with your passenger or rear-ending a semi. Price is very reasonable.

Cons: I see some complaints of slow write speeds, but I don't see that this drive is particularly slow. If you are using it for music, then write speeds are not a continuous issue, since mostly you are reading data and not writing.

Other Thoughts: This is a very short drive. If your USB port is situated where this drive would be recessed and hard to grip, you might want to consider a somewhat longer drive. I've had no issues with my USB ports regarding this drive. However, your results may be different.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect to Boot From USB

Pros: Low profile USB storage device makes it perfect for sticking onto a Server's internal or external USB Ports - excellent for USB Boot usage.

Cons: As this is a ow-profile device, it is not the best choice for those who really want an everyday USB Flash device that they'll be inserting and removing daily. There is very little to grab onto to get the device out -- though it is certainly possible if you use a gentle touch.

'Best to gently "wiggle" the device out of the USB port while pulling gently on the chain. Never yank straight out by the chain - the plastic shell the chain attaches to wouldn't withstand the tensile stress.

Other Thoughts: I used these in conjunction with a cocktail of hardware upgrades on a few Dell PowerEdge 1950 servers to upgrade their existing Windows 2008 installation to 4TB storage.

Data migration sorcery aside, the end result is I point BIOS to boot Windows 2008's bootmanager installed to these devices; and from there, the system finds and boots the Windows 2008 instance on the 4TB GPT-partitioned RAID1 drive.

No wonky hacks like UEFI-Duet or Hybrid-MBR needed with this technique; and by permanently attaching this to an internal USB port, none of the front or rear USB ports are sacrificed for this technique while the machine is still mounted in rack.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Tiny. It's about the size of 5 dimes stacked on top of each other.

Comes with tether.

Cons: Slow.

Other Thoughts: >100MB files: 6MB/s
<4KB files (11,250 items): 122KB/s Max, 32KB/s Min, 85KB/s Avg
<4KB files: 75 deletes per second

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as designed

Pros: First I am amazed at some people that think this is a thumb drive you can remove in and out constantly like larger drives.
The very reason its son tiny is that some people like myself need it to stay in their touch tablets, etc.. This drive is barely noticeable when plugged, and therefore its easy to keep in without it getting broken off. And of course its not easy to remove, but mine easily come out with my finger nails or small pliers.

Cons: None works great//

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It was free with an order i placed.

Cons: It is small and currently stuck in one of my usb ports . I will need pliers to remove it which shouldn't be a big issue. I just haven't done it yet as I currently don't need to use this port. Also, as other have stated if you try to remove it by pulling on the included braided tether it will break the plastic.

Other Thoughts: Given its size had it not been free i would not have purchased this flash drive.

1 out of 5 eggsDangerous!!!

Pros: ZERO, NADA, NJET, NONE!

Cons: If you want to get this C12G USB 2.0 flash drive STUCK in your USB port you came to the right place.

This Team flash drive is NOT the standard length of your typical flash drive. It's about 1/4th the size in length. Due to the fact that you cannot grasp the body of the drive being so short, it gets stuck in your precious USB 2.00 port.

That's exactly what happened with me. I had to use needle nose pliers, VERY carefully, and remove it from my desktop port. I have very high end cases, this could have been a disaster. Using the pliers I got it out. The Team C12g broke into pieces. Thankfully no damage was done to my PC. What a shame, we're polluting the enviroment...

I got this as a "bonus" with the Malwares Anti-Malware software package for free. If you get one in an offer, THROW it away. Do not buy one straight out, it's total junk.

Other Thoughts: They should take this product off the market, free or not. No Team products for me, that's fer sure...

Will it ever stop raining?

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a thumb drive.

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do. Used it to set up a Win 7 install from USB.

Cons: Don't try to pull the USB drive out by the little included steel cable - it breaks the plastic housing. No Activity light to know if it is being "read" or not.

1 out of 5 eggsSlow and unreliable

Pros: Small and cheap

Cons: Slow
Data corruption

Other Thoughts: I've been writing a lot of data to 3 of these drives for several months. All 3 suffer from data corruption. These are permanently installed in the PC which is always on, so improper removal is not the reason. I've scanned and reformatted them multiple times, and still get data corruption within a few weeks.

They are low. Write speeds are only 2MB/s. My old 2GB Imation drives can do 8MB/s.

Definitely a case of getting what you paid for.
I wish I could return them!
