5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: Fast... Very Fast!

Cons: Wider than normal...

Other Thoughts: More than worth it... I get 160Mb/s - 250Mb/s consistently... I tend to be very careful with my flash memory, so I don't notice a quality issue that some have talked about... I also don't carry it on a keychain or in my pocket.

1 out of 5 eggsWould not recommend

Pros: Fast drive, holds a lot of information.

Cons: Design of the drive is terrible. Glue failed and drive fell apart, thus destroying the drive. Have nearly a dozen other drives (none with enough space unfortunately) that have never had an issue.

The cap is junk. Barely stays on anymore, which may not sound bad, but because of the overall length of the drive, the USB digs into your leg, whereas smaller drives would be fine.

Other Thoughts: Bad design, big drive. If you need the fast speed, it's not too bad, but there are better drives. For daily use, get a different drive.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat Drive until died

Pros: Very Fast Drive, The speed is great

Cons: Drive came apart and I lost all my data.. Poor quality control and workmanship.. Who came up with the idea to glue metal to plastic... Manufacturer if you are reading this, use some type of screw to secure the circuit board to the metal chasis.

Other Thoughts: Since this drive is past newegg return policy, I am not sure how to proceed for a replacement.

4 out of 5 eggsWhy do I need an SSD?

Pros: -Capacity greater than my SSD
-Speeds fast enough to completely fill in Approx. 15 mins
-Aluminium casing dissapates heat generated fast
-Comes with extender cable to compensate for its wide footprint

Cons: -The casing came loose and exposed the internals. However, no damage occured I just have to be careful about how I remove it from a USB port.

Other Thoughts: This thumb drive is top notch the only reason I gave it the four eggs instead of five is due to the casing coming loose, as it could have severely damaged the internals. I believe I can repair the defect with some super glue, which I plan on doing, just as soon as I have access to some.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Durable metal construction
Great speeds (my tests of sequential reads/writes exceded the manufacturer's claims by 20 or so MB/sec)

Cons: Great product. I wouldn't call it bulky, but a bit larger than other (slower) products, not annoying enough to take any stars off however.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Storage & Speed

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This thing rocks, I guess it could be even bigger, but it serves its purpose and seems to be very compatible with most devices.

1 out of 5 eggsdisgustingly slow

Pros: it's red
it's not too thick, just wide.
nothing much else to say.

Cons: HORRIBLE THROUGHPUT!!!! After the first 1GB, slows down to lower than 200KB/s!!!! I saw as low as 42KB/s, but it only lasted for about 90 seconds. I transferred a folder with varying size files (my test folder) that calculated at 5.6GB total. More than enough space on the drive for it.

The first 1GB was fine sitting at about 86MB/s. slower than rated, but I can deal with it. After that, rsync started dropping lower and lower. After making it's lowest run at 42KB/s, the drive started speeding back up to a full 242KB/s whilst transferring the large-ish folder.

This is the SLOWEST drive I have ever known! My 8GB USB3 drive is faster than this and copies over the folder in less than 10 minutes. Heck, the Voyager GT 8GB USB2.0 drive is also faster by FAR! Waste of good money. I will NEVER buy from this company again.

Being one for thoroughly testing a product, I again formatted this drive to FAT (it's original state) and tried to transfer the folder over. Initially, I thought that maybe it was because EXT4 is sane and does not fragment, so slowing transfer speeds down. This was not the case; FAT transfer was only good up to and including 74MB/s for the first GB. Afterwards, the transfer stayed steady at a full 309KB/s, only dipping below 240KB/s every 30 seconds.

Please be wary of this product. The stated speeds are a loaded statement and must have come from their highly customized software and only tested on 1GB files.

Other Thoughts: I am a Linux user, I formatted this drive from the original FAT (horrible fragmentation threshold) to something more sane like EXT4 with journaling turned off. This is not new, for all of my flash drives are set to EXT4 sans journaling flag.

Are these speeds what we have to deal with in order to have a large keychain drive? Again, I will never buy from this company in the future and I would urge the community to think twice on buying this product also.

5 out of 5 eggsUngodly Speed

Pros: This flash drive is as fast as mainstream SSDs. I formatted it NTFS and hooked it up to my macbook pro that has 700MB/s PCI-e SSD built in so the drive is not a bottle neck. I was able to achieve 300MB/s Read speed and 200MB/s Write speed on this beast. That's way beyond it's advertised specs and at $65 it's definitely a great bargain.

Cons: The only con I can find is that the cap is a bit loose but it's not falling on its own so it's a very minor annoyance.
