5 out of 5 eggsWorks well!

This review is from: Team Elite Plus 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model TPD38G1600C11DC01

Pros: My PC is running pretty fast, no hangups, no having to wait around for anything to re-load because it was no longer in memory - of course, my last computer I had in my studio had like 1GB of RAM, so of course this was going to be an improvement.

Cons: No complaints.

Other Thoughts: For this price, yeah, I'd buy this again.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for choosing Team's product! We will assure that our customer always gets high-quality goods and excellent customer services from us.

4 out of 5 eggsHappy with RAM (5 star) but was temporarily annoyed (-1 Star)

This review is from: Team Elite Plus 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model TPD38G1600C11DC01

Pros: -great price for my ram needs and budget
-product seems to be working fine after one month

Cons: -I think the manufacture should be checking theirs sticks before they sell them so this does not happen as frequent: i had to fill out paperwork and use my own time to have a faulty stick be sent back to get a working stick of ram (my computer was out of commission for about a week or 2)

Other Thoughts: -nice look (black and gold)
-when ram was faulty, all shipping fees were covered and Newegg.ca was very good with the whole thing

2 out of 5 eggsBricked After 2 months

This review is from: Team Elite Plus 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model TPD38G1600C11DC01

Pros: I like team they are priced reasonably and usually have good stuff.

Cons: Worked great for about 2 and a half months. Then, these modules went bad and caused the system not to start. On POST, the memory beep error would sound. After re-seating and starting with a new power supply no beep error but also no bios or boot. Replaced the models with some g-skill snipers, system started immediately.

Other Thoughts: If you buy these run a memcheck program when you get them just to be sure. I have not contacted newegg or team on getting these replaced yet. I will update with the customer support for these modules when that is completed.

2 out of 5 eggsDOA

This review is from: Team Elite Plus 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model TPD38G1600C11DC01

Pros: Got them on sale.

Cons: DOA, Timings are a bit loose for 1600 but it's cheap RAM.

Other Thoughts: Bought them in July, didn't open them until now. Two different system will boot but Memtest freezes within minutes on each machine. Started the RMA process. We'll see how Team does in the RMA category.

5 out of 5 eggsRAM is RAM

This review is from: Team Elite Plus 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model TPD38G1600C11DC01

Pros: This stuff works great and as you would expect it to. Low profile which is nice and absolutely no hiccups. I have used all sorts of brands including A-Data, Samsung, G.Skill, Corsair, Kingston, and Crucial. All of these brands I have never had a problem with and Team has been added to the list. Great value, great RAM. Not much more you could ask for. I'm also really happy with the route they went with a black PCB. Makes it looks wayyy better and I'm really surprised they did that on value memory. Let's not forget the warranty

Cons: Absolutely nothing.
