Enforce Compliance with Always-on Encryption
Be confident you're protecting sensitive data and meeting regulatory requirements by deploying FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated* IronKey flash drives featuring AES 256-bit hardware encryption, the strongest available. Hardware-level key management, powered by the IronKey™ Cryptochip, keeps encryption management on the device and does not export AES encryption keys to the host PC, protecting against cold-boot and malware attacks.
This review is from: IronKey Basic S250 4 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Pros: Easy to use. No software to install. Built very well, can tell this can probably take abuse with no issues. Read and wtite speed and good for an encrypted drive. Control panel software is well designed.
Cons: None noted so far.
Other Thoughts: Overall very happy with this purchase. Iron key has always been a trusted name in secure portable storage, but this is the first of their products that I have owned. The durability of the drive case is very apparent and definetly one of the main pros for this drive. Read and write speed are also fantastic compared to some other encrypted drives of similar stature.
