D250 drives balance performance and value for users who don't require constant access to data. Same great security as the S250, with dualchannel MLC flash memory for reading files at up to 29MB/second.

This review is from: IronKey Enterprise D250 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Pros: Solid construction, handy and strong cable lanyard, nice feel, and all the options I want(ed). When you are carrying confidential information, misplacing my thumb drive invokes panic. Auto-wipe, anti-tamper with auto self-destruct, secure browsing, virtual keyboard, on-board malware protection, 256-key hardware encryption, VeriSign... all key features.
Cons: I spent 3 hours researching secure drives and ended up with the D250 Enterprise. However, nowhere is it clear that you have to purchase a license and separate Enterprise account to be able to use the drive. With only 3 employees, that cost and annual renewal doesn't pan out. So I returned the drive for the "Personal" version so it can operate as a stand-alone device.
Other Thoughts: Make sure you have an Enterprise account with Imation or this drive won't work.
