Decent, cheap
- Pros: This thing is very compact and capable. It does everything you expect it to at a reasonable price. I love it for being so small.
- Cons: Getting an xD card out of the slot takes some leverage because it fits in all the way, leaving very little sticking out. Also, the directions do not specify which way the cards need to be inserted, so be careful at first. Look inside to see where the pins are.
- Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a cheap, compact card reader, this product is for you. Works perfectly in Windows Vista 32bit with no additional software.
Tiny, but effective.
- Pros: Tiny, you wouldn't realize it from the newegg pictures, but the thing is about 2 inches square, by 1/2 inch tall. It fits every possible memory card type, including xD, which a lot of the other readers don't. Also, it's external, so you don't have to waste a cd bay, and you don't have to deal with the trouble of an install.
- Cons: Was not recognized immediately by windows XP 64 (not uncommon). Website for this product is a mess, and drivers were not available. Strangely enough, when I moved it from being plugged into a front side USB port, to a rear one, it began functioning perfectly. I am a computer scientist, and I'm not even sure why that worked. Might want to try it if you have trouble though.
- Other Thoughts: Its kind of cheap, but it's working great for me. I like the card reader so I don't have to install the camera and its drivers, and its great to have for when friends have cameras, because I don't have to deal with the fact that none seem to be plug & play these days, I just pop their memory card into the reader.

Great Card Reader
- Pros: This product is compact, very much plug and play, reads a very wide range of cards and very reasonably priced.
I literally took this out of the box plugged this into a USB and jammed my xD card into the slot and away I went. I also tried compact flash, SD and Mini SD and they all worked.
I haven't had it very long so I can't speak of the longevity of the product. This product is very compact at 3"x3", which is great for me. I have seen plenty of large card readers. The other thing that I like about this product is that it is very reasonable at $6.99.
- Cons: I don't have any as of yet, this product is everything that it says it is, so far.
Works,solid
- Pros: Plug & play, way way faster then using the USB from my DSLR canon, by FAR! even for Raw 10mb images its very quick
- Cons: none so far, havnt tested using multi cards at once
- Other Thoughts: worth it!
Good Stuff
- Pros: Small and nice. Has a indication LED. Reads a lot of different kinds of cards.
- Cons: I tried to insert a SD card and it was a little hard at first. You have to hold it straight.
- Other Thoughts: It's cool that it's clear and you can see inside.
