5 out of 5 eggsNeeded more RAM

Pros: Fast. Easy install

Cons: None except??????

Other Thoughts: I already purchased 1 stick of this RAM for my sons Gaming rig. He was out of hard drive space so I ordered a stick of this RAM at the same time I bought another SSD. I was a little concerned that the RAM was no longer stocked by NewEgg but was shipped by a "partner" At some point I was planning to add two more sticks to get him up to 32g. I hope availability is not an issue in the future because I would prefer the RAM to match

5 out of 5 eggsAMD: Not Just For Fanboys

Pros: Stable, fast, and error free.

Cons: Doesn't make sandwiches?

Other Thoughts: I've used AMD Ram in three builds so far; two for gaming and one for my Mum's HTPC.

These puppies are slick enough to quickly process those lovely large chunks of data that eat away at fps. Moreover, their great for everyday use and haven't failed despite the frequent power outages that we get here in Florida. (Hurricanes,Thunderstorms, poor infrastructure)

Further, I've never had a problem getting their clock to the right speed, which is nice considering that I've slapped them into budget and high end Motherboards.

Finally, RAMDISK is awesome. Can't stress that enough. You're SSD is going to give you a max read of 1GB/s, whereas AMD's Ramdisk can provide up to 4GB/s. Yes, it's been around for awhile and their are free programs available but Radeon does it right.

In sum, great Ram for a great price. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, no problems and compliments my all AMD system :)

Pros: Stays cool.
Heatsink very effective and will NOT interfere with a large CPU cooler, in this instance a Nocuta NH-U14S.
Manually input timings to make sure CAS latency is at it's rated speed.
Ran Prime95 to test (didn't have time for memtest) and after a 5 hour blend test didn't break a sweat :)

Cons: Nope

Other Thoughts: Really compliments the complete red AMD system :)
GPU: XFX R9 280X Black Edition soon to be replaced by an MSI R9 280X 6GB Vram :)
CPU: FX-8350 at 4.7ghz, cold and streamlined :)
RAM: AMD Radeon 1x8GB at 1600mhz, manually input timings

5 out of 5 eggsLickity Split

Pros: Good memory and fast! I installed the memory on a new ASUS MB and it started so fast I could not believe it. I am just .02 points below an I-3 MD with this AMD quad core ASUS MB and CPU. bought for a good price right here on Newegg writing a review on it next, the memory board and pros. were all part of sale package, glad I did it!

Cons: None yet! And I don't think I'll have any. It found all 5 hard drives I am running with this homebuilt system overall I am satisfied with both price and product, I just they don't raise prices but lower them on the new board, memory and CPU bundle's!

Other Thoughts: Look for the bundle's they are good especially if you already have a good tower case, I plan to sell this one later after I and another 24 gig of memory so I will be at the limits of 32 gig total, to work my way up to buy and an I-7 bundle MB, CPU, and Memory later!
