Pros: Neweggs super fast free shipping!! memory works at intended timings. These replaced some aging ddr3 1333 2gb sticks very satisfied.

Cons: My board initially clocked them at 1600 but went into bios changed to AMP profile and vola problem fixed.

Other Thoughts: Seems to feel a bit more snappy but haven't ran any actual benchmarks except for WEI and it only increased by .1 from 7.3 to 7.4 but I got no complaints im glad I went with these sticks.

5 out of 5 eggsRock and Roll!!

Pros: This 8 gig set at a good price was a no brainer.
Matched with an AMD A-10 flat out rocks.
Nice heat sinks already in place.
Look good on the board too.

Cons: .....

Other Thoughts: This 8 gig set for a multi media computer has exceeded all expectations. I will try this ram teamed up with an AMD A-10 for a gaming build.

4 out of 5 eggsRunning great

Pros: Working just as I had hoped.
Detected at 1600MHz initially. Selected the AMP profile in the BIOS and its running at 1866MHz.
Also appears to have the XMP profile as well.

Cons: A little more expensive than other 8GB (2 x 4GB) kits.

Other Thoughts: MSI A88XM-E45 motherboard using slot 1 and slot 3 for Dual Channel. This RAM is not listed on their Memory Support sheet but is working just fine so far.

5 out of 5 eggsNICE

Pros: Awesome go to amd ramdisk site they will hook you up. Love it matched these with a-10 6800k asrock extreme 6+ mobo and a 6670 graphics card. They rate a 7.3 windows index. Plus got a ram disk set-up from amd which is awesome.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Will update as they go if anything goes bad otherwise review stands.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks sharp. The heat spreaders don't make the modules any taller, major plus since I put them in a tiny Antec ISK110 case.

Cons: cost more than modules that have same speed and timings. No real benefit. I'm using them with an APU.

Other Thoughts: Sadly these offer no noticeable benefit. I'll probably buy more simply because I like the way they look and a lot of the computers I build have windows.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh quality RAM

Pros: Made by Patriot. Thick, hefty heat sinks that sit nice and low. Black, low profile, simple look beats the massive, obstructive, brightly colored RAM sticks any day. Optimized for AMD systems instead of just Intel. Not sure if it overclocks well, I do not overclock my RAM.

Detected as 1600 MhZ when first plugged in under optimzed defaults BIOS settings, see other thoughts.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Simply go into AI tweaker in advanced BIOS menu (or equivalent menu on non-Asus board), and select the A.M.P. option in the drop down menu at the top of the screen. This will automatically apply the correct AMD profile for the memory with the advertized CAS and timings.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Don't listen to the ones who say it's clocked at 1600 MHz. All you have to do is check if BOTH your motherboard AND your processor is capable of handling the 1866 MHz speed. I'm using a M5A97 LE r2.0 motherboard and an FX-8350 processor, and all I had to do to make it run at 1866 MHz was to go in the bios and select "1866" instead of "1600".

I used to have 10 GB of 1333 MHz RAM before, and I'm getting a little speed gain by using 8 GB of 1866 MHz RAM at the moment, maybe because the things I do usually doesn't add up more than 5-6ish GB of RAM, making this RAM perfect for me.

Cons: None yet.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Customer Service

Pros: It didn't fail out of the box.

Cons: Firstly the memory has timings and voltage printed on the chips that do not match the advertised specs of 9/10/9/27 @ 1.5v. The chips I got were 10/11/11/30 @ 1.65v.

When I installed them the 1866 came up 1600 and can't get to speed w/o "extreme" oc'ing them. I didn't pay for 1866 memory so I could OC my system to get them to that speed.. and yes, my board supports 1866 naturally.

I called AMD's "support" number 4 times on 4 days straight, there is no way to hold for a rep, only to leave a message. Which I did. It's the 5th day and no one has returned my call, absolutely the worst customer service ever.

4 out of 5 eggsHappy

Pros: Small cooler, good speed, good performance, first time buyer of amd ram and im not dissapointed.

Cons: Was sold to me as 1866mhz speed ram, once installed into the pc it only showed 1333mhz and i could clock it up to 1600mhz stably but no more, after some research on the new amp memory profile that is what these memory modules use i can now use the full potential of the memory, from no one else mistake but mine i didn't set the right profile but if anyone else is having the problem i describe most likely that is your issue.

Other Thoughts: PC Build:
AMDFX-6300
Asus M5A99FX Pro r2.0
4x2 (8gb) Amd Performance series ram 1866mhz
Gigabyte r9 280x OC 384 bit 3gb video card
240gb Corsair Force GS SSD
650gb WD HDD

Wouldn't hurt to make the specified memory profile needed for the full performance of the ram more known.

4 out of 5 eggsLittle pricey but cool looking

Pros: Cool and contemporary looking. The don't appear to get hot, like at all.

Cons: Seemed a little pricey especially for a black friday buy.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my Linux(Fedora) box because I wanted 1866 ram and because I like AMD
