Pros: This unit is reasonably fast. I did a test by using xcopy to transfer 23GB of music files to it and it averaged over 10MB/sec which is fairly close to the claimed 12.
Cons: The specifications stated here are from cavalry's website but they disagree with what is written on the package which is
sequential read: 80MBPS
sequential write: 60MBPS
random read: 50MBPS
random write: 12MBPS
