5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Fast no Problems, I have Windows 8 on my laptop, definite speed increase in the laptop. No Problems whatsoever with the memory

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have been playing the first Halo Game and because it was meant for Win Xp, the Memory Upgrade caused a slight wrinkle due to this version of Windows Xp not being 64-bit as Win 8 is showed a lack of memory to play the game. No problems playing the game however, just a nagging problem with the game at the beginning.

1 out of 5 eggsCauses Dell E6420 to Crash

Pros: Inexpensive. Works some of the time.

Cons: Computer hangs on boot or crashes at other times.

Other Thoughts: Installed with the 4GB samsung chip that came with my Latitude E6420. Computer started crashing and after a day of that, removed the RAM, computer worked fine again. Replaced RAM in other RAM slot (but still with 8GB installed) and machine began crashing again. Might try it alone and see if it works, but that wasn't the point of my purchase. Hopefully it will work in another machine or the company - which I've never heard of before - will warranty. I'm not going to get my hopes up.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking well

Pros: Cheap, works well

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Hadn't heard of Pareema before this purchase and decided to take a chance. Bought two 4GB DIMM's, one to replace a failed 4GB DIMM and the other so I could max out my HP laptop to 8GB at the same time. So far, everything is working well.

3 out of 5 eggsFollow up to my previous review

Pros: Very inexpensive

Cons: Hangs at post for several minutes before booting the OS or entering the BIOS if I have both 4GB modules installed. Other than that no issues so far.

Other Thoughts: Prior to this I've never installed more than 3GB in my XP Pro systems, though I've had more than that in my Win 7 systems. I wasn't aware that XP 32 would only see/show roughly 3GB max no matter how much you installed, so this memory isn't to blame for Windows only showing 2.91GB installed. It doesn't change the issues I had with this memory hanging my system for several minutes every single time I turned it on, before it would load the BIOS or attempt to load any OS (the laptop does support 8GB so that's not the problem). While troubleshooting I did discover that if I only had one Pareema 4GB module installed, even with another 1 or 2GB chip from another manufacturer installed together, it didn't hang at post like it did when I had both Pareema 8GBs installed. Use this information as you please, it's only my personal experience with it and each of the modules seems fine alone (I've tried both individually). It was only when I installed both together that I had major problems.

3 out of 5 eggsDidn't work for me

Pros: Cheap, cheap, cheap!

Cons: Didn't work for me!

Other Thoughts: **I should give this item 1 egg, but I don't want to ruin the sales after only 1 review, so I'm giving it 3 for now. I'll change it if anyone else has the same experience**

Bought this for my new Lenovo B570 laptop that I purchased a couple weeks ago. It came with 3GB and I do a lot of Photoshop work, so I wanted to upgrade to 8GB since memory is inexpensive. After installation, my laptop would hang at the post screen for several minutes instead of the usual 5 seconds. I was hoping it was going to be a one-time thing while the computer analyzed and recognized the new memory, but it happens every time whether I try to boot normally or enter the BIOS. When I DO get into the bios several minutes later, the BIOS sees the memory as 8GB, but saving and rebooting doesn't help the 5+ minute wait time at post, and Windows XP only sees the memory as 2.91GB when it finally boots up. There are no BIOS options at all related to the memory, and there's nothing else I can do to resolve the issue
