Excellent For the Price
- Pros: Worked right out of the box in Win XP Pro Sp2. Fast transfer rate(limited by the flash ROM not the Reader!)
The added front USB port.
- Cons: The Plastic Wrap Covering the Unit was difficult to remove (not sure if it needed to be...) and the bezel is somewhat difficult to change from the default black one. I wish they would get rid of the red power LED.
- Other Thoughts: I bought two of thee units (one to add to my machine and one to add to a machine I was building) they both worked GREAT! I have used both units with SD, micro SD/T-Flash (with and adaptor), CF and an OLD smart media cards and it has read all of them with no problems! I changed the bezel on one of the units to the beige one and found that if you remove the metal top of the unit (This is easy as it is not attached with screws) the Bezel change is MUCH easier! These units fit perfectly into an inexpensive Rosewill Case (R230-P) and an older Antec Performance (TX635). I did not experience the problem with connections on the USB plug, they are all in securly on both of my units.
BOTTOM LINE I WILL BUY THIS UNIT AGAIN!
Also Newegg ROCKS as they got my orders to me TWO DAYS earlier than expected!
Great Product
- Pros: Reads my SD Card and I can use the USB port to plug in my guitar for guitar hero iii. SD Card goes in the normal way for me, not upside down like somebody said.
- Cons: It doesn't Print Legal US Currency.
- Other Thoughts: Great product, easy to install as the wires were not seperate, it was 1 block and I didn't even have to look at the manual. Thanks Newegg!

- Pros: Works, fast, matches my case, clean / easy install.
- Cons: Takes up my one floppy drive-sized opening in my case.
Works Fine
- Pros: Cheap, reads all the cards I've tried, easy install, recognized right away using XP Pro. Newegg price and service. 3 faceplates.
- Cons: Doesn't come with the winning lotto numbers.
- Other Thoughts: It's a card reader that reads cards and fills a 3.5" slot.
