Ornate Tech
- Pros: Fast, tasteful, USB thumbdrive. Good chromatic fit for a keychain with one or more brass keys. Very small (roughly the size of the first segment of my index finger), with a blank back that could pass as a classy necklace pendant, if enscribed. The front has the techy appeal of the USB teeth. Apparently solid construction; essentially brick-shaped. Practical speeds of 30 MB/s read, 25 MB/s write (observed), which is fast enough to read or write a DVD in realtime. The reviewer experiencing slow speeds may have been using a USB 1.1 controller, or was plagued by some other critical path. I have not technical or aesthetic criticisms of this device, especially given the price. Nice to find useful technology with a touch of style.

- Other Thoughts: Haven't had this long enough to speak to the durability of the metal plating,
- Pros: Very good speeds, about 9.5mb/s write, 28mb/s read, very small (not the smallest, there are microSD readers smaller than this thing), strong metal housing doesn't bend or break.
- Cons: Not actually gold or either a poor gold plating. I worn this for 1 day around my neck on a lanyard tucked in my shirt. At the end of the day I noticed some color fading around the ends and on the back. Also the shiny reverse side scratches easily being inserted and removed from the USB ports.

Very Cool
- Pros: Small, very durable, blingin', decent price.
- Cons: Scratches somewhat easily, but I dont think its that bad. Fits very tightly in some USB ports, which causes some scratching on the back.
- Other Thoughts: I accidentally washed this USB drive! I couldnt find it anywhere and didnt see it in the washer either. I set the washer spinning and I could hear it down in the washer. I used the spinning action of the washer to fling the gold chain out where I could hold it then I pried it out of the crack with a screwdriver. It was banged up a bit, but the gold plating held surprisingly well. I had to use a pliers to straighten out the track so it could fit in the port. The data was still good and the drive still works fine! This thing is real cool.
