Cons: I do agree with others that the red LED light needs to go away. It's always on. Really! what's the point of this? All you need is the green LED to know it's working when you plug in a memory card. So I give this 4 starts. Pros: Very easy installation, just plugged it up to my motherboard and turned on my computer, boom my computer can read memory cards now. I've tested file viewing, file transferring and all and it works great. No complaints. Cons: The cons are not great enough for me to crack an egg on. Yes, there's a red LED on the front that stays on no matter what. It isn't THAT bright. People need to get out more. My computer is listing 4 additional virtual drives in the My Computer folder where I access all this data and now the folder looks sorta cluttered but oh well. It works! Other Thoughts: I like it! It does the job well and was a good value for the price. It matches the onther external media drives well from a color and finish stand point. I can't say much because it is just a card reader. Cons: None Other Thoughts: I don't want to come across as disapointed with the reader because I am not. It is a quality read, but I don't want to make seem more than it really is. Never had a problem - works as described and would recommend if you need one for your system. Cons: New Egg Customer Service will be the downfall of the company.
