Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: + Only 2 wires coming out the back + Plug-and-play - I didn't even have to turn off / reboot the computer to install it. + Esata port + Works in both Window 7 and Ubuntu.
Cons: - It wasn't free. But at $19 with free shipping it is close.
Other Thoughts: Others have complained about the length of the wires. In my case(Antac 900) they were plenty long to run the wires behind the MB tray.

Bad USB Hub

Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: It has many connection for different memory cards, usb port, and esata port.
Cons: Causes problems with my USB ports on my motherboard. I have a Gigabtye GA-P55-UD4P motherboard and it causes all the color coded black USB port on the motherboard to not recognize my flash drives. The USB port on the Nippon Card Reader also wouldn't recognize the flash drive. Disconnect the Nippon from the motherboard and the UD4P recognizes it. This somehow causes my other ports to go bad. Their web site has no support for driver updates or bios update.
Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this item because of the flash drive recognition issue. If their site had some sort of support to fix this, then I think this would be a great item but now the usefulness of the item and it causing my other ports to not recognize flash drives, then I find it not worth the price.
