5 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: Installed and it lit up. Formatted a floppy and I suppose
would flash BIOS if I could find an update for my Biostar
TF7050. Not much else to say.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Newegg again took care of my order with the same
care and speed they as they with all my orders. That's
why I come back. Thanks NE.

5 out of 5 eggsCLICK - *whirr whirr whirr*

Pros: Cheap. Works. Saves my hide when using certain obnoxious operating systems that require hitting F6 during setup to install RAID drivers from a floppy (*cough* XP *cough*)

Cons: Front panel is not quite pure black, but more of a very dark grey. If you have a black case and are obsessive-compulsive about these things, its off-blackness will slowly gnaw at the depths of your soul until one day it finally makes you snap. For the rest of us, meh, it was five bucks.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Reads floppies and it's black.

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: How much can you ask for? It reads disks, that's what it's for, and does it fine :)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works just liked it should. Plugged in and everything started working.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I know these things are becoming somewhat obsolete. It was more to ship than the actual product cost.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works...

Pros: It is a floppy drive. It works. Pretty much end of story.

Cons: None. Does anything cost $5.49 anymore?

Other Thoughts: Although the concept is "obsolete", tell that to the MB manufacturers that still want BIOS installed via floppy or when you are loading a SATA driver during an opsys install. Like at F6 time. This may be my last one but until the powers decide on CD (floppies are much easier than burning a CD) or some other way to carry out the tasks I've mentioned, this will do just fine. To make my point, the MB makers still include a socket for them.
