Good drive, until it failed

Pros: Good price when I bought it; small form factor is convenient for moving around; 1-year warranty
Cons: Drive failed after 11 months. Luckily it was still in warranty and has been returned to the manufacturer for replacement. However, I'm definitely happy this is only one piece of a redundant backup system. I won't trust any truly critical data to it henceforth.

Pros: - Lots of Space
- Excellent Price
- Formatted to NTFS out of the box
- eSata option given for lightning fast transfers
Cons: - eSata cable NOT included
- The blue LED light in front is brighter than the sun
Other Thoughts: I had read some reviews claiming this hard drive gets really hot withing 12 hours. I have not had that experience at all. Mine stays very cool most of the time and when its been left on for days its barely even warm. Overall its a solid external HDD and I would definitely buy another.
