I'm running 4 simultaneously in RAID10 and they become only slightly audible during data intensive loads in the dead of night. Cons: Only a 6.0 index score on Windows 7 on a RAID10... Performance is in between the green and black edition. Not the best choice for a RAID setup but the price per GB was unbeatable at the time. Cons: the only con i can think of --you might buy two fro raid or hold out for a 1TB-64cach WD drive. Other Thoughts: pretty much what you would expect from WD. a smooth running HD. don't know if it will hold up as long as my other WD drives but i certainly have no reason to think it won't do as well. is should run for many years. newegg shipped the drive quickly for a good price and you have newweggs best in the biz CS. +1 for the egg!
