Great Hard Drive
- Pros: Runs smooth, Very reliable brand

- Other Thoughts: Formats to 298 Gigs, I plan to buy another one.
There is 320 Gigs on the drive but u only get to use 298 Gigs, because the 22gigs u don't see is used for the F.A.T.(File Allocation Table).

- Pros: Great drive, Fast and quiet... I cant even hear it under full load. I've always bought from wd and wont buy any other brand hard drive.

Great buy
- Pros: Quick fast format, Great seek speed, no errors
- Cons: none so far
- Other Thoughts: for the price it's ok, I would get a 1TB drive but not my computer, built for a friend.

- Other Thoughts: The drive formats to 298GB because drives are sold by the Decimal size equivalent of 1k MB/GB, 1k KB/MB, and 1k B/KB. Actual figures are 1024 per. If you run the math, that's 1073741824 bytes per GB. 320 divided by that is 298 and change.
Works as expected
- Pros: Quiet, cool, reliable, fast. What's not to like?

- Other Thoughts: Great drive from a great company. I purchased this to replace drive that had been fried by a failing power supply and have no complaints whatsoever. I've owned Western Digital drives for over two decades and not a single one has ever failed. These Blue Caviar drives a great. Very fast and quiet. I'm using mine in RAID mirror array and expect it will perform great.
