Pros: I bought two of these drives from Newegg: one to install as a secondary drive in my PC, the other to put in an enclosure to serve as back up for it. I have had it a few months now, and it has worked well. I use it for multimedia storage and game installs/files. Fast and quiet, by my standards. Prior to this, I had purchased an off-the-shelf backup drive from a big-box store for twice the price - and it failed in a week. Two drives here plus the enclosures were still less in cost and higher quality.

Cons: None, so far.

Cons: None, for now.
You do need to buy a Sata cable though.

Other Thoughts: Didn't have this HDD for long, but it's performing superbly. I've been buying from Newegg for quite awhile now and most of the items that I've bought from them came in quick and working as it should. I got this HDD when it was $10 cheaper, but would buy again to do a Raid configuration. Noticeable increase in performance (upgrading from a 2mb cache 120GB IDE hard drive).
