Pros: All the normal stuff for WD.

Cons: This drive arrived DOA. I have never had a WD fail, much less show up dead. I doubt I'll second change to another brand, but I have to put the note out that one was bad.

Other Thoughts: When a drive fails in a Raid 1 array, the replacement is simple. This system would not boot with this drive installed. Blue screen just as windows started to load. Did the same thing to another system. Makes no sense, but Dell was no help, nor was Western Digital, nor was Intel. Who thought it would be shot.

Pros: Price was nice

Cons: About two weeks into owning the product, after installing a new game, the drive would grind to a halt when trying to read a sector. I ended up having to buy another drive. Haven't tried reformatting yet, so don't know if the damage is permanent. Will RMA if it is.

Other Thoughts: Was a nice drive till the bad sector appeared.

Pros: READS AND WRITES PERFECT. WESTERN DIGITAL GOT TO BE THE BEST. I HAD 1 BAD HARD DRIVE OUT OF 128 OF THE WESTERN DIGITALS THAT I HAVE PURCHASED OVER THE YEARS FOR CUSTOMERS.

Cons: NOT MUCH GOING ON IN THIS SECTION...

Other Thoughts: WISH ALL WESTERN DIGITAL HD SOLD FOR THIS PRICE IN RETAIL BOX!!!
