Pros: Added a lot of storage space to my TivoHD

Cons: Died just after 1 year when warranty expired.

Pros: Setup is a snap, TiVo just recognizes it and you're off.

Cons: Like others, mine died after just a bit more than a year. Do a web search, and you will find some reports that WD tech support even admits this fact.

Die after one year!

Tech Level: high - Ownership: more than 1 year

Pros: Relatively quiet, easy set up

Cons: THEY DIE AFTER ONE YEAR. This worked pretty well for about a year, but right after my warranty dies this hard drive bites the dust--causing my tivo to randomly freeze and reboot. I removed the drive and no more problems. Wish I didn't waste over $100 (when this first came out) on this!

Other Thoughts: Not very happy.
