Pros: This drive is fast, responsive, reliable, and has more than enough storage for my current application.

Cons: little noisy when active but not louder than the dvd drive.

Other Thoughts: I bought this drive to replace my 20gb drive in my xbox 360. With some online documentation and resources I was able to make this drive work flawlessly! I would recommend this product for xbox 360 replacement drive.

Pros: This drive certainly shows it's speed. Worked great right out of the box.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace a Seagate drive that even though passed diagnostics it was still acting funny. After putting the WD drive in I haven't seen any issues and the speed difference is very noticeable!

Pros: Price.

Cons: Died after only 8 months of use.

Other Thoughts: This is the only Western Digital product I have EVER had an issue with. Luckily I had just acquired a MacBook Pro for school, so it wasn't the end of the world. Sadly, my Seagate 3TB external became corrupted(and has since done it again) about 2 weeks later. So everything was lost because I was too passive in transferring files. (Lucky my important files were on my desktop)

Pros: Super easy to install in the PS3 and fit size spec. Good value. Good mfg warranty.

Cons: I spend even more time gaming.

Pros: Fast and works great. Noticeably faster than a 5400rpm drive in a laptop. Been working for about 6 months without issue. Drive is not any louder than a 5400rpm. Got this on sale for ~ $50, which makes for a great deal.

Cons: Will slightly decrease battery life in most laptops. If you don't manage to catch this on sale, $90 may be a bit of a high price for this drive.

Pros: Fast shipping; Drive was here in 2 days! First time ever replacing a hard drive, in fact, I spent the past month reading web articles on drive formatting and partitioning. In summary, the drive went in like a dream, is extremely quiet, and my laptop runs much faster than it did before the crash. Thanks Newegg...totally satisfied!

Cons: None...I wish I replaced the drive right away rather than waste a month deliberating over buying a new laptop!

Other Thoughts: I was told that it would cost $300 to replace my hard drive, but I was able to get it done for around $50. Awesome!

Pros: this is the second one i purchased for my laptops. By far the best. the first one about 5 years ago and still running my dell, on constantly.

Pros: Much cheaper than Microsoft's overpriced proprietary drives.
Faster than stock Xbox drives.

Cons: You will have to tear apart you XBox caddy and flash this drive to use it.

Other Thoughts: The head park and spindown on this drive is rather loud and can easily be heard over normal gaming. (Just turn up the volume =P )
