Great for the price
- Pros: It's pretty fast, and has more than enough storage, even with Kubuntu Linux on a partition. It was the cheapest external HDD I could find, at $69.99. There's no extra software on it. I added PortableApps, though. I run games off of it and it does great, even with the ISO that I'm using and game files both stored on it and running from it.
Very satisfied.
- Cons: Cord was kind of short, but I had one of the same type lying around.
- Other Thoughts: Some people like to have extra software and stuff on external HDDs, especially for backup purposes. I couldn't care less about it though, as I usually just delete it all anyway. So, this drive saved me some time, seeing as there was nothing on it but the WD icon! =D
So far so good
- Pros: Light weight. Neither noise nor heat. No failure so far. I used it to save media then watch. 400 GB is enough for me at this point. The price is reasonable.
- Cons: Not very sexy
- Other Thoughts: For backup purpose an addition software would be preferable. It's great if WD includes it for free
