Pros: Ordered 12 of these drives to serve on three ReadyNAS NV+ units used for offsite backup rotation duty. Almost a year of use and only one drive has failed.

Cons: 1/12 failure when it could have been 0/12 failure?

Other Thoughts: These drives to see rougher use than the standard drive. Backup duty plus getting bumped around in a pelican case can't help lifespan.

Pros: 2tb worth.

Cons: Performance a bit slower than expected

Came out of original box and hd only. No cables, ect.

Other Thoughts: Price was average, but WD are reliable.

Pros: This drive hauls a**.

Cons: None yet. We'll see how long it lasts.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace the 1TB drive in my Time Capsule (which turned out to be made by Hitachi). It went in in minutes, and my backup times were cut in HALF! I backed up my 1TB iMac (782GB used) in less than 24 hours on my gigE network. Wow.
