1 out of 5 eggsA Doorstop

Pros: Appears nice, but lousy reliability.

Same length of time as Limited warranty.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor design and Even worse quality

Pros: Lots of Space

Cons: Poor Design

Bad customer Sevice

Poor Workmanship

Other Thoughts: After 5 or 6 days my computer was unable to read the data from my HD (Hard Drive). When I disconnected my HD the port that the 3.0 usb cable pluged into ripped off of the circuit card. After taking this HD apart and looking at it I saw that the port was barely connect with 2 drops of solder. When I called Western Digital and told them they sent me a new HD to switch the circuit cards so I wouldnt lose my data, after the horrible language barrier and the saleswoman shipped to the wrong adress and prolonged the wait for my HD. After Finally getting the replacement HD I took it apart to swap cards, to my surprise the other HD had the port on the HD not even attached to the card other than by the pins. When I used superglue to ensure the port was held down it only lasted a day before it still ripped off the card. The USB cord is too heavy for the tiny 3.0 usb and eventually no matter how well it is soldered it will rip off the circuit card. Recomend not bying and searching for a better HD.

5 out of 5 eggs2TB on demand.

Pros: Lightweight, good temperatures, USB 3.0 (WITH INCLUDED PCI-E card!) and lots of storage.

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: As the wife has discovered her passion for digital photography, we found a need for portable storage that could act as a safe means to keep all her pics. This has worked wonderfully, and was recognized immediately by Windows. After installing the drivers and a small firmware update, it's been up and running like a champ. Definitely a great storage solution.

5 out of 5 eggsSleek

Pros: Sleek design, turns on and off with pc when connected, very quiet

Cons: tips over easier than I would like other than that no issues

Other Thoughts: some kind of wider but thin base would have been nice even if an optional attachment that they gave you

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Installation was a breeze, drive is quick and does exactly as advertised.
Finally WD realise the software they used to provide was awful. Now they just provide the driver on the disk for the USB3.
Worked well with Windows 2008R2x64

Cons: None so far, everything you need is in the box.

Other Thoughts: Comment to previous reviewer - I think you would be hard pressed to find any connector that is secured in any other way than being soldered to the board. Seems fine to me.

1 out of 5 eggsFlimsy Drive connections

Pros: Hard to come up with any as the drive failed in one week of careful use.

Cons: This drive was broken within a week of purchase. WD supplies a thick USB 3.0 cable that with little effort will pull the usb connector out of the case rendering the drive usless. The only thing securing the connector in the case is the electrical connections to the board in the drive case. Very poor design.
