Pros: Price

2 out of 5 eggsCould be alot better

This review is from: Western Digital WD Blue WD3200AAKX 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Have had a lot of success in the past with WD. For last 10 years I have only bought WD. Probably about 400 of them.

Cons: Managed to install and set up completely. Lasted a whole day. Glad I didn't give this new computer build to the customer yet as I would have looked like an idiot. Whole day wasted. Can't RMA it to WD. They only send you a refurbished back to you. Can't put that into a new computer build for a customer. Glad I can rma it back to New Egg and get a new one. I don't think that 12% failure rate for new hard drives is very good quality control. In fact it sucks. But the other manufacturers are even worse.

Other Thoughts: I would have given 1 star to WD if not for their past performance. Quality is going down though. As always New Egg gets 5 stars. Soon the SSD will be affordable to use on a regular basis. Can't wait.

5 out of 5 eggsWestern Digital Holds true to its name

This review is from: Western Digital WD Blue WD3200AAKX 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: * Reliable
* Has survived being installed and re-installed over 10 times without data corruption or breaking.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought it in the time when hard drives were sky high in price because of flooding in the Asia region that caused a spike in prices. But even then it was worth its price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Drive

This review is from: Western Digital WD Blue WD3200AAKX 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Spin up fast, access data with speed, run very quite, and best yet run cooler then most drives I have run.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Just set a pair of these drives in a raid as a replacement to the drives that died on me. Performance is great, noise is down, and they run much cooler then my old pair.
