5 out of 5 eggsGreat HD!

Pros: Not problems at all. I am a YouTuber and I use it as video storage of the raw video. Great so far! Easy to install, and lets be honest, who doesn't like 1TB more storage?

Cons: None. Does what it's supposed to do.

5 out of 5 eggsI Bought two & they're GREAT!!

Pros: Runs cool, easy set up ,I Googled instructions online for installing with Win7 and had them installed in the plug & play enclosure in less then 10 minutes. I got two of these recertified for $49.99 with an extra two year coverage for $29 bucks.

Cons: No installation instructions but they were sold as bare drives so it wasn't expected, haven't found any yet, Price performance ease of installation.

Other Thoughts: These were great for my use of extra storage for all my movie and tv show downloads, I just plugged and played them in my two bay BYTECC, set them up to be recognized by my WIN7 and I have 2 TB of extra storage.

1 out of 5 eggsTwice DOA'd, I'm moving on

Pros: It didn't explode

Cons: Didn't work at all, twice DOA

Other Thoughts: The first drive was DOA. Wouldn't power on. I RMA'd it, and the replacement drive was also DOA. I tested my cabling and power source with other known good drives, and they all worked, so it's definitely the drive. I'll never buy another WD hard drive.

3 out of 5 eggs6 MONTH WARrANTY ONLY

Pros: It Works

Cons: 6 MONTH WARRANTY ONLY From WD

Other Thoughts: It was my mistake, I did not looked at Refurbished sign. I just looked at the price. Maybe is good for the price and maybe will last longer time.
For few $ more you could get brand new with better Warranty.
Plus I don't by a Refurbished product because you never know what was wrong with it when went back to be Refurbished.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Worth the Lack of Warranty

Pros: Cheap drive for bulk storage.

Cons: Slow spin-up time makes the system hang for a moment when the drive needs to be accessed. Then the drive failed altogether and since this was refurbished, you get hardly any warranty. I wish I had just bought a new drive and got the full warranty.

Other Thoughts: It's not worth the paltry savings to get a refurbished drive.

5 out of 5 eggsThese rock!

Pros: I bought 4 of these new right after they came out back in 11/2008. They've been in a home NAS/Media Server running 24/7 since then. No issues. None. I just swapped them out for 4 WD 2TB reds.

Cons: None
