Other Thoughts: Bought this to upgrade my 1st gen XBOX 360 from its original 20GB drive. Just followed the backup/restore process as I found an instructional video on YouTube and it worked great. Cons: Your 250GB is really like 205GB, IDK, I guess you never get the full size of the HD. But, better than 20GB (or 17.5GB) LOL! Other Thoughts: If you can ride a bike you can most certainly upgrade your PS3's HD with this model of HD, always having to be 5400RPM required for PS3, whether an original or older "fat" model or the new "slim" models, it does not matter. HDtune gave it 80MB max transfer, not too bad. I love the fact that it was dirt cheap for a 250gb laptop hard drive. Drive is conciderably fast despite it being 5400rpm.
