Pros: Have been using 2 WD10EURS drives (Sata 3 model of this drive) for the past 2 years as external audio/video storage devices for my HTPC's. The drives have performed flawlessly while recording hundreds of programs and up to four HD streams simultaneously. No reason to believe this drive would not perform in a similar manner.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: These drives are designed to last in always-on, streaming digital audio/video environments such as PVRs, DVRs and surveillance video recorders. If you need an operating system drive consider the RE4 or Black models.

Pros: Its green..... i guess

Cons: Its horrible when it comes to reliability, if you need a gaming hdd look elsewhere.

Other Thoughts: Have had this in a new build for 2 months now. It is meant as backup storage. Though I have used it very little it has done what I asked so far flawlessly.

Pros: Fast with a lot of space.

Cons: Not SSD ;)

Pros: This is the fastest drive i have ever had that is not a Solid State. For this price i can almost guarantee that you will not find a better drive. My build boots quickly and who in the world doesn't like 1TB of internal storage? Fits in my Antec 900 case well with not issues.

Cons: None. Good product.

Pros: Incredible drive. Give me great performance for not being a ssd. I would recommend this drive to anyone.

Cons: Not a SSD. LOL!!!

Pros: Pretty fast for a HDD; faster than any I've had before.
Not that loud. I can't notice over anything else in my computer.

Other Thoughts: It showed up on its own, no cables/wires/connectors, which I was kind of expecting, but wasn't entirely sure. Bought it for my first build, so I don't have much experience with ordering parts, and it was my own ignorance that left me unsure whether it would arrive on its own or not. Luckily the motherboard and PSU I purchased had the proper connectors, so no problem at all; there still wouldn't have been if they didn't anyway.

Pros: Never got to see this item in action.

Cons: This item arrived in a plain brown box with no markings at all making me think I got a not new item. There was nothing in the box at all except the hard drive. Hoping for the best I installed this and then the nightmares began, BIOS could see it but when trying to install windows it could never find a drive. It kept asking me to load drivers and I could never find the right one. I spent about 10 hours reading all the forums online and trying every fix. I finally bought the EXACT same hard drive from a local store and it was found and loaded windows right out of the box.

Other Thoughts: I really like NewEgg and the RMA process is quite painless compared to many retailers. I am not happy, however, that I got what appears to be a not new product, paid to have it shipped to me, and I have to pay to send it back but only get my purchase price refunded.

Pros: Fast, price is right.

Cons: Noise much worse than WD disk drive it replaces, even though specs show it's supposed to be a lot quieter.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully after the drive is replaced, I will share the same positive opinions of the other reviewers.
