Pros: This is my second Maxtor. I was running one that I've had for over 5 years with no problem and it gets started and shut down every day, several times a day. This SATA 7200 is faster and quieter. I highly recommend this drive if you are looking for a reliable workhorse!

Cons: None. Just make sure you order the SATA connectors at the same time, otherwise you'll pay more at your local big box store.

Other Thoughts: There is no better value out there than this one offered by Newegg. I installed this in a box I built from Newegg products. This drive came just like everything else I've bought from them- on time and well packaged.

Pros: price performance is what this sata drive is all about
highest rating in vista 5.9 and it seems just a tad faster than most.Quiet and zero install problems

Cons: i guess a con would be it wasnt free,, but newegg shipping sure was
