Old and foolish now. 8/29/2010 3:12:55 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 5/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5Swearing I'll do better backups from now on Pros: Was delighted with this drive for 16.5 months. Inexpensive, quiet, speedy, low power consumption, worked great in my macbook. 3 year warranty. Cons: at 16.5 months, kernel crash and won't boot. Linux utilities report many read errors, DRD RDY errors. SMART utilities say the drive is healthy, attempting to actually reading the data, not so much. Other Thoughts: Picking up a couple of 2TB drives and going to become disciplined about backups. All hard drives will fail.
