Pros: Cheap. (give or take the occasional rebate). Plug and play for Mac owners. Easily re-formatted for others.
Cons: Cheap. Only one USB port. Runs a little hot, so if you are going to use these in an enclosed space - beware. A little picky about mounting, 50/50 if I power on the drive before the computer.

Pros: Read/Write fast than other hdd? I guess not!
Cons: Hot after 1hr just like Seagate's 7200.10 and 11 series, kinda annoying click sound after around 10 mins
Other Thoughts: I'll buy either WD or Hitachi 1TB 16MB instead of 32MB model.
