Good build quality for the case. Cons: Not quite as sturdy as the G-drive mini with the full aluminum case, but then it is also smaller. No external power option. Other Thoughts: We've purchased at least 15 of these for transporting files around, and they've been fine. You can get a clicking noise if the bus isn't sending enough power, so it might just be that the ports aren't sending enough juice to get the drive to spin up. Did you find this review helpful? Purchased it to backup a macbook pro weekly, which went well until.. see below Cons: Purchased the drive on 3/15/2013 and just 2 days after newegg's 30day RMA is over the drive has started to make "clicking noises". Its operating fine for now, but what good is a backup drive that is going bad. Other Thoughts: The drive did have firewire and was the sole reason it was purchased over a Western Digital, but since its failing after a month I would NOT recommend this to anyone.
