Pros: Nice size drive for back-up or file storage on the go as long as you use USB 2.0

Cons: USB 3.0 troubles. This device continually drops connection and reconnects when plugged in to any USB 3.0 port. I have tried to use it on 3 different computers. All computers have the same result, the device drops its connection and reconnects every few seconds. This makes the USB 3.0 connection useless.

Other Thoughts: USB 2.0 works rock solid, but the transfer rates are slow. I got this for the high speed USB 3.0, but cannot use that connection. So, if you are looking for a solid USB 3.0 drive this is not the drive for you. If you want a portable drive then it works with USB 2.0 just fine.

Pros: * Preloaded software able to be removed
* Was a very responsive drive when it functioned.
* Flawless video output over a wide range of resolutions and codex
* High transfer rates
* So very quiet

Cons: *Came with preloaded software
*Randomly failed to connect after about 25 work days of use. It was 9 hours a day over about 34 days. The drive laid on a solid surface (a money safe that was bolted to the ground) and did not move for the duration of its use.
*I cannot get an [even pro-rated] RMA because it's 4 days out of it's period of RMA eligibility.

Other Thoughts: I have had many spinning drives in the past, in both testing and educational environments. I used this drive over a dozen times for my presentations and this is the first that's just stopped functioning between showings.

Pros: I got this on sale for about $60. Connected to a USB 3 port, this thing was able to copy a 40 gig game from one computer to another in about 5 minutes (1 min to the drive from computer A, 4 mins from the drive to computer B). I probably could have gotten an internal 1 GB HDD and a set of sata-to-usb cables for slightly cheaper, but this kind of speed and sleekness can't be beat.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: I got this drive to edit and transfer audio projects for my Music Technology Applications. It's been working very well and the 7200RPM speed makes it great for working on the drive while in the lab.

*Mobile, stick it in your bag and go.
*Shiny and Red, matches the color of my hatred for how buggy Pro Tools is on windows.

Cons: Cons:
*Provided cable is very very short, I would have gladly paid a dollar more for a few more inches of cable; doesn't allow for standing up the drive or laying down flat.
*Refuses to make me coffee no matter how much I ask it to.
*Strongly suspect it's planning world domination.

Other Thoughts: Glad I bought it, never tried this brand before but so far it's been a great storage tool.

Pros: Unit is small, lightweight, and easy to use. Plug in a USB port and backup!
I do not trust the cloud so this is perfect.

Other Thoughts: Amazing how something can backup the way this thing does. It does not require a power cable!

Pros: Installs in seconds. USB 3.0 is very fast. This is my second one and I have eliminated 2 slower backup drives. AND the Red is really cool!

- Sexy red color w/ black accents
- Aluminum Build (which is great and better than the plastic build of My Passport that I bought in 2012)
- Thin, compact, and portable

Cons: The USB 3.0 cable they provide is quite detrimental, because it disconnects suddenly and randomly from my computer. Good thing I have several USB 3.0 cables laying around. Not enough to bring my five star down.
